Top Teacher Awards

The Top Teacher Award is a unisex competition. To qualify you must have a minimum of 40 Pro/Am entries and must be on a package.

To qualify you must have a minimum of 50 Pro/Am entries for this unisex competition and must be a package holder. The points are awarded as follows:

If placement is in an uncontested division, the points will be halved.

Professional Awards

Equal prize money will be awarded in American Rhythm and Smooth, International Standard and Latin, Open and Rising Star. Prize monies are as follows:

Pro-Am and Amateur Awards

Every Pro/Am student and amateur couple who are doing free style entries will receive a participation award with the placement to be added on.

Top free-style students, male and female, will be presented in all levels of American and International style. To be eligible for top student awards, a student must enter a minimum of 8 events in that level. Top students awards will be based on the following :

1st place........3 points
2nd place........2 points
3rd place........1 point

If a placement is in an uncontested division, the points will be halved. All points will then be added together resulting in the placement.

Pro-Am Dance Scholarships

Equal prize money will be awarded in American Smooth & Rhythm and International Standard & Latin. To qualify for scholarships, students need to enter 4 free styles, closed or open, in that style. Scholarship awards are as follows
